Wildcat Fencing Club is the Northwestern University-affiliated Fencing Club for Chicagoland communities. Classes, practices, and camps are held on the Evanston Campus of Northwestern University. The club is run by the Northwestern University Fencing Coaching Staff, Athletes, and Alumni.
Whether you are brand new to fencing and just want to try it out or are an experienced competitor looking to take your game to the next level, Wildcat Fencing Club is for you! Open to any and all.
CLUB HOURS AND CLASS SCHEDULE:
Mondays:
- 6-7pm: Youth-14 Foil Class
- 7-8pm: Teen/Adult Foil Class
- 8-10pm: Open Bouting
Tuesdays:
- 6-7pm: Epee Class (Coach approval required for participation)
- 7-8pm: Epee Structured Bouting Class (Coach approval required for participation)
- 8-10pm: Open Bouting
Wednesdays:
- 6-7pm: Youth-14 Foil Class
- 7-8pm: Teen/Adult Foil Class
- 8-10pm: Open Bouting
Thursdays:
- 6-7pm: Saber Class (Coach approval required for participation)
- 7-8pm: Saber Structured Bouting Class (Coach approval required for participation)
- 8-10pm: Open Bouting
Saturdays:
- 1-2pm: Youth-14 Foil Class
- 2-4pm: Open Bouting
Wildcat Fencing Club runs classes 11 months of the year. The Club is closed during the month of July.

PARKING:
There is parking lot available to the south side of the building for parking. Street parking is also available.
EQUIPMENT:
We have fencing attire available to borrow if needed. Please wear sneakers and long pants. No shorts permitted for safety reasons. A water bottle is also recommended.

As a US Fencing Member Club, all participants are required to have a US Fencing Membership. Memberships can be purchased online at http://www.usfencing.org/page/show/698114-individual-membership. They are yearly memberships and cost $10 per year for a Non-Competitive Membership and $70 per year for a Competitive Membership.
